At People of Purpose and Associates, we're dedicated to building a sustainable business that benefits entire communities, particularly addressing concerns surrounding houseless camps.

We believe in empowering camp residents to take charge of their own well-being, thereby alleviating some of the burden on city and community responsibilities. Environmental cleanliness and protection are paramount concerns for us all.

Our initiative involves the purchase of three trucks, each staffed with two employees. Houseless individuals will be incentivized with five dollars per bag of trash collected at their campsite. Designated pickup sites within campsites will facilitate efficient waste removal, ensuring proper disposal according to city regulations. All trash and recycled materials will be taken to appropriate locations.

Communities are encouraged to report impacted areas, such as campsites along freeways and bike trails, to facilitate comprehensive cleanup efforts. People of Purpose and Associates are acutely aware of the detrimental impact of litter on our city, including once vibrant downtown tourist areas. We're committed to making a difference before the situation escalates further, recognizing the need for collective action.

We invite waste management and disposal companies, such as City of Portland Waste Management and Portland Disposal and Recycling, to partner with us in this crucial endeavor. Together, we can solve this out-of-control problem and restore the beauty of our city.
